Hii, everyone!
First of all, I wanna say sorry for being so irregular in blogging. I just have a lot of work this year since its my 10th grade. I might not post regularly but I'm assuring you all, that, whenever I get a chance to post, I will!
Now, on to the blog!
I visited Rishikesh and Mussoorie for my diwali vacation. We chose these places mostly because we wanted some peace, relaxation and also, the corona count over there is very low.
Also, we took a lot of precautions, and hence we are okay and healthy.
We took a flight on 8th November to Dehradun. For the first two days, we were in Rishikesh. Then, on 10th, we went to Mussoorie by a car. And, on 12th finally, we came back to Mumbai:)
The best thing about the trip was that we kinda got a break from the corona problem. And, we got to breathe fresh mountain air that was so refreshing and soothing!
In Rishikesh, we got to see Ganga in its purest form and it was literally turquoise in colour. It was immensely clean and full of minerals! We attended the Ganga aarti, too, which was a wonderful experience.
We really enjoyed our stay in Rishikesh!
Then, in Mussoorie, we enjoyed campfire along with soothing songs on guitar. We played badminton and really had a great time! If you are my personal friend, you might know that I took pictures in Mussoorie and posted one of them on my personal Instagram;-) It was quite rare for me to take pics but my mom insisted on it, so I did lol.
Now, lets talk about food!
At both places, we had breakfast included in the package so we had the basic breakfast that is available at hotels:)
Then, we had the Garhwali Thali which is the local speciality. I loved how healthy the local food was!
Also, we had wood fired pizza! Haha yes ik ik. "THERE, you are eating pizza?" Its because the hotel had it as a special item on the menu, so, we decided to try it (hehe)
And, we also had some North Indian food like naan, paneer and chicken, which was obviously delicious (it always is)!
So, overall, I really enjoyed the trip. We were not able to explore much due to the pandemic. But we made the best out of it!
Here are some pictures-
Although, it was quite a casual blog, it is really close to my heart as this was one of my most memorable trips ever!
Hope you liked this blog:)
Thank you for viewing and reading this blog!
Love,
Ashi.
